The motel has a lot of charm and a unique atmosphere with converted train cars that make for an interesting stay. However, it feels like some areas need improvement, especially regarding cleanliness and maintenance. Additionally, while the room prices are fair, the overall experience could be greatly enhanced with better upkeep.

The room I stayed in was quite dated and in need of some serious cleaning. The elements were not well maintained, and it did not feel as comfortable as I had hoped.
Service

The service could be better; while some staff members were friendly, others were quite rude and not helpful at all. There were also issues with my booking.

We had a cozy stay at this unique place, which is filled with charm and history. The staff was genuinely caring, making our experience memorable. Although we loved the character of the rooms, they did feel a bit dated and could use some updates. The location was a highlight, close to town with plenty to explore, but the surrounding areas did have some concerns around cleanliness.

Rooms

The cottage-like rooms had everything we needed to relax, but they felt reminiscent of motel rooms from the 1960s. Overall, they were clean but could benefit from some modernization.
Service

The service was attentive and welcoming, which truly enhanced our stay. They even updated our accommodation to a bigger room at no extra charge.

Staying at Canyon Motel & RV Park was an interesting experience. It's a unique spot, especially with the retrofitted railcars that provide a charming lodging option. While the staff was friendly and offered helpful local recommendations, I encountered issues with the water temperature in the bathroom and found the laundry facilities a bit lacking. Prices were on the higher side, but considering it was Spring Break, it offered reasonably good value compared to other options.

Rooms
7.0
The room was clean and equipped with basic amenities like a refrigerator and microwave, but the bathroom was quite small and the water temperature control was tricky.
Service
6.0
The staff was friendly and eager to assist, though there were some communication issues regarding electrical setup at my RV site.
Location

The location is fantastic for those planning visits to the Grand Canyon and is also within walking distance to downtown Williams.
Dining
Facilities

The park is well-equipped with hook-ups and a small shop, but the laundry facilities could use more machines given the number of RV spots.

Our stay at this cozy motel was truly a highlight of our trip! We loved the unique experience of sleeping in a refurbished train car, which the kids found especially exciting. The staff was incredibly welcoming and took the time to help us feel at home. While there were a few small oversights, like some cobwebs and the occasional bug, the charm and history of this place more than made up for it. It's a bit pricier than typical motels, but the value you get from the experience is unbeatable.
